The Happy Glamper

A new and unique business has opened  on the Mornington Peninsula….. Happy Glamper! It is based in Rye and can cater to all your glamping needs.

What is ‘glamping’ I hear you say? I’m glad you asked. Glamping is a pseudonym for glamorous camping. That’s right, no 10-millimeter foam mattress, no cramped sleeping bags and certainly no looking for a campsite late at night as a precursor to setting up a tent in the dead of night. Glamping is a combination of camping and luxury (yes you can have both).

With the Happy Glamper you can enjoy the smell of the sea and the sight of the stars before tucking into a comfy bed under fresh linen. They do all the hard work for you.

Happy Glamper offers two types of accommodation. There are two caravans, a 1966 Trade Wind Airstream and a 1964 Bambi II, that both offer the best retro chic accommodation going around. And there are Bell tents (queue red Indian music) that bring both the glamour and comforts of home to the camping world.

They all offer power, lighting and comfy beds. If you decide to go with Peggy-Sue you will even get a microwave, heating and air conditioning. One thing’s for sure, you will never look at camping the same way.

Check out the Happy Glamper at this ‘link’.  All bookings are taken through Airbnb which provides a fantastic accommodation booking platform. You can also contact the Happy Glamper at info@HappyGlamper.com.au. or on 0419 832 888.

See you at the beach.
